With the help of ANAG, national association of grappa and brandies, we will learn about the production process of grappa and taste some typical products of our region.

How grappa is born

How is grappa, the most famous Italian distillate in the world, created? A short story about how producers, using stills, create young grappas, aged grappas, fruit brandies or other distillates appreciated for their aromas, flavors and quality. Tasting of 4 grappas from our region.

About ANAG FVG

ANAG is a national association of tasters ( www.anag.it) which trains competent people and promotes the knowledge of grappa.
The activity carried out by ANAG members in Friuli-Venezia Giulia is focused on the organization of courses, theme evenings, visits to distilleries and events such as fire dinners and tasting evenings. Information available at www.facebook.com/anag.fvg
The association is very committed in being present at regional fairs or events: Friuli Doc, Barcolana, Gusti di Frontiera, Farra Wine Festival, Calici di Stelle, Cucinare, De gusto.
In addition, the collaboration with local businesses such as Maritani, Villa Nachini, Bunker, Adelia di Fant, ... allows the organization of high-level tasting evenings, in combination with sweets, cigars, chocolate, cocktails and more.
ANAG is well known among all distillers with whom it maintains close relationships. In the national competition Alambicco d'Oro organized annually, grappas and brandies are judged: hundreds of distillates participate in order to obtain medals in recognition of quality and prestige.

The organization of ANAG events widens to the tasting of international distillates such as Rhum, Whisky, Cognac, ... to satisfy the requests of the many members involved in other associations and an expanding market.

ANAG always pays the utmost attention to propose only quality products and to teach the public the value of local products, in respect of conscious drinking.

For workshops, show cooking, presentations and live performances, the entrance is free and access to the area is allowed only with possession of the Green Pass and with compulsory reservation - N. 28 seats.
