The treasure of every land is the history of its products
If produced in the first part of spring it is liquid, characterised by the slightly bitter aroma of the morello cherry (Prunus mahaleb). If produced later in the year, it is mainly characterised by the nectar of various herbaceous legumes, which give the honey a delicate aroma; in this case, it remains liquid for a long time and takes a more or less dark amber colour. Sometimes, it can appear crystallised due to the presence of lime tree nectar (Tilia spp.).
