The treasure of every land is the history of its products
The fried Cros are, the Frogs fried in Italian. In the Friulian language the frogs are called "cros" or "crotz". Today, this poor dish is a real delicacy.
In the territory is a widespread food to which are dedicated numerous festivals, where the Cros can be tasted fried, accompanied with polenta or risotto.
Cros meats are very tender with little fat and very good for healthy nutrition and diet. Over the years the consumption of this amphibian has been reduced, but now its meats are much appreciated by gourmets.
