Spring onions in oil
Region: Friuli-Venezia Giulia
Ingredients
1 kg spring onions, possibly the same size,
1 litre of white wine vinegar,
1 glass of dry white wine,
sugar,
2 litres of extra virgin olive oil,
2 leaves of laurel,
4 cloves,
4 grains of pepper,
salt.
Introduction
For spring onions it is better to choose small jars, ideal to be consumed at any time, without having to worry about controlling the oil level (which must always be such as to cover the potted vegetables). Also for this type of preparation it is essential to wash the product well and use high quality raw material.
