Ingredients
1 kg of mantis shrimps,
2 eggs,
50 g of type 00 flour,
2 glasses of extra virgin olive oil,
1 lemon,
salt.
Introduction
"Canocia" is the dialectal term for the malacostraco crustacean Squilla mantis. The last abdominal segment dorsally has two black spots hemmed in white that look like two fake eyes. The mantis shrimp of the Adriatic reach a length of between 15 and 17 cm.
