Stew with potatoes
Region: Friuli-Venezia Giulia
Ingredients
800 g of veal stew,
200 g tomato puree in bottle,
1 onion,
1 carrot,
1 coast of celery,
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil,
salt,
pepper,
½ glass of wine,
1 kg of potatoes.
Introduction
Potatoes have various, useful functions in the kitchen. Used alone they are an excellent food which is widely used also in substitution of bread. Cut into pieces, they form a side dish that can be served separately or that can be understood, as in this case in the dish, also in order to give more "volume" to the dish.
