Cividale under the stars - 2024

An event where music and flavours come together to create two days of concerts, tastings and musical entertainment.
On Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 September, for the first year De gusto will be present at the "Cividale sotto le stelle" event with the "De gusto Village".
The event is organised by Mast Icc Sb with the co-participation of the Municipality of Cividale del Friuli and the contribution of PromoturismoFVG.

The event consists of three separate events:

THE PROGRAMME
  • Saturday 7 September

From 5 p.m. to midnight - Opening of the "De gusto Village". 

At 7 p.m. - Inauguration with the authorities

From 9.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. - Concert RENGANEK summer 2024 - Free admission with reservations required by Friday, August 13 at this link ⇒  Link event SOLD OUT

  • Sunday 8 September

From 10 a.m. to midnight - "De gusto Village";

From 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. - Agro-food exhibitors organised by De gusto in cooperation with the Association "Sapori nelle valli", where you can buy local delicacies and delicacies. Area dedicated to children, with "I Giochi di una volta";

From 6.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. - "De gusto - Lo Show dei Sapori" a tasting organised by De gusto in cooperation with the Association "Invito a pranzo", l'Association "Sapori nelle valli" and "Consorzio tutela vini Friuli Colli Orientali e Ramandolo", with musical entertainment by "LUCA SAX" and DJ "Julio Montana" - Tasting fee - Online reservations starting Friday, August 13 at this link ⇒ CANCELLED Due to orange weather alert!

From 9.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m. - "Special Guest Giovanni Cricca" - Free entry until capacity is reached ⇒  CANCELLED Due to orange weather alert!

From 10.30 p.m. to midnight - Musical entertainment by "LUCA SAX" and DJ "Julio Montana".

Inside the ‘De gusto Village’ for the entire opening hours of the event, there will be a food and beverage stand where you can taste Zattere with:

- Trout eggs on a bed of spreadable goat's cheese;
- Thyme-scented aubergine on truffle cream;
- San Giorgio smoked ham on horseradish sauce;
- D'Osvaldo ham on Figo Moro compote;
- San Daniele queen trout on a bed of herb butter.

... also the Frico with polenta crusts and Strucchi.

accompanied by a selection of excellent Colli Orientali del Friuli Venezia Giulia DOC wines:

CIVIDALE DEL FRIULI Rich in late-medieval works of art, Cividale del Friuli is one of the must-see destinations in Friuli Venezia Giulia.  It guards invaluable testimonies of its Lombard past and it represents the starting point of the UNESCO itinerary dedicated to the legacy that this mysterious population has passed on to Italy. Lombard atmospheres A visit to the city has to include the National Archaeological Museum, the Christian Museum and the Treasure of the Cathedral, the precious Lombard Temple and the mysterious Celtic Hypogeum, a site which was built in many different eras, even if its purpose still today remains unknown.  Perhaps it was a burial site during the Celtic period, and maybe it was used as a prison in Roman and Lombard times. Maybe one day we may be able to gain a better understanding of this place but, for now, we can only admire it in silence. But even without these treasures, Cividale is also definitely well worth a visit for other exhibits: the CIPS, dedicated to the puppets of Vittorio Podrecca from Cividale, Italy's greatest performer of puppetry, and the De Martiis Family Collection, an art gallery exhibiting a series of extraordinary artists of the 20th century. For both children and adults, we recommend a tour of the Acrobati del Sole Park, an ornithological centre dedicated to birds of prey, where you can enjoy a very original show and visit the living environments of these animal species.
